The Longlevens Primary Federation are offering a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team at Longlevens Junior School.

Longlevens Junior School is a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive school seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Admin Assistant to join our friendly School Office team.

Main duties and responsibilities will be to provide routine clerical support in the school office.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has an ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanour
- Has previously worked in a School Office environment, preferably with SIMS , Parentpay and Schoolcomms experience
- Is able to work with minimal supervision but has the ability to work well as part of a team
- Demonstrates very good standards of numeracy and literacy
- Is able to multi-task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and has a calm and methodical approach to work
- Has excellent oral and written communication skills
- Has excellent IT skills
- Can develop and maintain good relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of people including pupils, staff, parents, governors and outside agencies
- Has the ability to show sensitivity and objectivity in dealing with confidential issues.
- To provide a reception service and being a source of support for parents who require information on a day to day basis.

The post is Term Time only and will be subject to probationary period of 6 months.

Working hours will be:

Monday - Friday 8.30 a.m. – 1.30 p.m.
