Coney Hill and Finlay Community School Partnership is seeking to employ 2 Learning Mentors to join our expanding teams. Both will be fixed term contracts until 31.8.19, term time only, plus INSET days, 37 hours per week.
Are you a highly motivated, inspirational and caring individual who has proven experience of supporting children with a range of needs?
We wish to appoint an exceptional applicant who can:-
•Build positive relationships with identified children;
•Remove barriers to learning, both inside and outside school;
•Help raise children’s self-esteem, expectations, achievements and standards;
•Liaise with teachers, support staff and partner agencies, sharing information, good practice and facilitating support;
•Assist children’s mental health and wellbeing by nurturing and creating opportunities for them to reach their full potential;
•Be an effective role model;
•Engage with, and support, families/carers, in order to provide children with the best possible chance;
•Plan and create resources for intervention programmes;
•Work independently and as part of a team
