Admin HistoryLonglevens School was opened in 1930 as an all-age elementary school under the title of Wotton-St. Mary (Without) Council School. In 1938 it became a senior school on the opening of a new junior and infants school in Paygrove Lane, and in 1945 it became a Secondary Modern School. It moved to new premises in Paygrove Lane in 1963, and the junior school took over the original buildings in Church Road in 1969. Following reorganisation of secondary education in Gloucester, Longlevens Secondary School closed in 1988.
